Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Gets Early Prison Release Date Following Facility Transfer and Bunk Bed Injury

Sean Diddy Combs has officially seen his federal prison release date moved up by nearly a month, cutting his expected time behind bars down to February 6, 2028.

The disgraced music mogul was previously scheduled for release on March 2, 2028. Federal authorities have not publicly detailed the exact administrative mechanism behind shaving 24 days off his timeline.

The abrupt scheduling update follows weeks of chaos, an emergency hospital run, and an inter-facility transfer that permanently uprooted the 56-year-old producer from his initial bunk.

Behind the Prison Transfer: Contraband Raids and Turmoil

Combs was abruptly moved from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey to FCI Allenwood Low in Pennsylvania.

The relocation came on the heels of mounting reports that Combs was receiving preferential treatment, including access to unauthorized cell phones and top-shelf alcohol.

Those reports triggered widespread inmate frustration inside the New Jersey facility. Federal officials carried out at least two sweeping raids, confiscating illicit mobile devices across the housing units.

The Bunk Bed Incident vs. Altercation Claims

Tensions reached a fever pitch when the father of seven required emergency outside medical attention for a head injury sustained inside Fort Dix.

Accounts immediately split over how the injury occurred. Initial internal findings indicated that Combs hit his head on a standard metal bunk bed frame.

However, counter-reports alleged a violent confrontation between Combs and convicted Jamaican drug lord Christopher “Dudus” Coke, who is currently serving a 23-year sentence.

“The fight between Combs and Coke is false and did not happen.”

While Combs’ own representatives stated they had no way of independently verifying the altercation, the Federal Bureau of Prisons forcefully denied that any physical fight took place.

Tracking the 50-Month Sentence

Combs is serving a 50-month prison sentence stemming from his conviction on two counts of transportation for prostitution.

Here is how his federal custody timeline currently stacks up:

Metric Custody Detail
Current Projected Release February 6, 2028
Previous Projected Release March 2, 2028
Current Housing Facility FCI Allenwood Low (Pennsylvania)
Prior Housing Facility FCI Fort Dix (New Jersey)
Total Imposed Sentence 50 Months
Federal Conviction Two counts: Transportation for prostitution

His legal team has not issued a formal statement on the latest calculation change, leaving open questions on further calendar adjustments.

💬 With federal release dates frequently recalculated behind closed doors, public scrutiny around the music mogul’s time served remains intense.
