Bravo Overhauls ‘In the City’ for Season 2: 5 New Cast Members Confirmed After Major Exits
Bravo is overhauling the ensemble of In the City Season 2 by adding five brand-new cast members to the lineup. The sophomore run officially brings in Brittany Whitfield, Robert Morrison, Reagan Baker, Natasha Parker, and Barthelemy Jallet as full-fledged newcomers after a series of high-profile departures altered the group’s makeup.
Cameras started rolling south of the border at the SLS Playa Mujeres resort in Cancún, Mexico. The trip provided the first on-screen test for how the newcomers integrate with the returning veterans.
With production underway, the network is recalibrating the show’s dynamic by leaning on real-life couples, seasoned reality veterans, and fresh downtown Manhattan talent.
Who Are the New Additions Joining the Cast?
The influx of new personalities brings both unscripted television veterans and creative professionals into the social circle. Two married couples and a familiar dating-show face are entering the mix for Season 2:
- Natasha Parker: A familiar face on the small screen, Parker competed on Peter Weber’s season of “The Bachelor” before appearing on “Bachelor in Paradise.” She works as a certified meditation teacher in New York City and hosts the podcast “Hidden Gems with Natasha Parker.”
- Reagan Baker & Barthelemy Jallet: Baker, a professional hairstylist and founder of the Soho salon House of Reagan, starred in the 2023 unscripted dating series “Swiping America.” She joins alongside her husband, Barthelemy Jallet.
- Brittany Whitfield & Robert Morrison: Whitfield is a New York-based celebrity makeup artist and licensed esthetician. She enters the series alongside her husband, Morrison.

Filming Kicks Off in Cancún
Production for In the City Season 2 began against the backdrop of the “Taste of SLS” weekend celebration in Mexico. The cast filmed throughout the property, staging scenes around the spa, beachfront, and nightly resort parties.
Kyle Cooke took over the DJ booth during a Saturday pool party that also featured festival-scale performances from The Chainsmokers and Bomba Estéreo. Newcomers Parker, Whitfield, Baker, and Morrison were present on site filming alongside returning talent.

Season 2 Cast Breakdown: Returning vs. Departing
The casting reset means several central figures from the inaugural season will not return. Danielle Olivera and her partner Eoin Heavey have exited, as well as Andrea Denver and his wife, Lexi Sundin.

| Danielle Olivera & Eoin Heavey | Departed |
| Andrea Denver & Lexi Sundin | Departed |
The Backstory Behind Amanda Batula’s Exit
The most debated departure is Amanda Batula, whose exit stems from backlash and social media strain following her relationship with West Wilson. While many assumed network executives simply cut ties, negotiations behind the scenes tell a more complicated story.
Insiders offer conflicting reasons for why negotiations fell through:
- Filming Limitations: One account states the network invited Batula back in a part-time capacity, but she opted out because producers would not permit her boyfriend, Wilson, to film with her.
- Timing Concerns: A separate source maintained that both parties felt it was simply not the right time for either Batula or Wilson to be on camera.
- Salary Negotiations: A third report claimed talks collapsed over compensation disputes, with the network unwilling to match Batula’s requested pay rate.
When reality ensembles undergo sudden cast turnover, contract disputes and personal boundaries frequently collide behind closed doors before filming even begins.
Busting the casting myth: Rather than a standard firing, Batula’s absence resulted from a layered breakdown involving public reaction, filming conditions around her private life, and contract terms.
💬 With five new faces stepping in and major originals stepping out, Season 2 is taking a distinctly different direction.
✨ Bringing real-life couples and established unscripted personalities into the group will quickly reset the social hierarchy.
