The couple’s path to marriage began when Buckner proposed during a romantic weekend trip on a beach in Mexico. Cortese shared the engagement excitement with fans shortly after the question was popped.

In 2017, the pair tied the knot in New Egypt, New Jersey, choosing Laurita Winery as the setting. Their evening ceremony took place outdoors among scenic vineyards before transitioning inside for an evening reception.
