Crystal Kung Minkoff Breaks Ranks With Pal Jeff Lewis After His Explosive Attack on Gina Kirschenheiter

Crystal Kung Minkoff is refusing to back her longtime friend Jeff Lewis after his explosive verbal tirade against The Real Housewives of Orange County star Gina Kirschenheiter. Minkoff made it clear that she fundamentally disagrees with Lewis labeling Kirschenheiter a “white-trash grifter” on his radio show.

The 43-year-old former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star addressed the feud during an appearance on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea, drawing a hard boundary despite her frequent guest appearances across Lewis’ media projects.

“I would say this right to his face; I don’t agree with what he says about her,” Minkoff revealed. “I like Gina. I think she’s super nice and I’m really impressed with what she’s done in her life.”

While Minkoff acknowledged that attacking peers unprovoked is not her style, she felt compelled to push back against Lewis’ aggressive commentary.

The bad blood started during an appearance by Lewis, 56, on Watch What Happens Live. Host Andy Cohen asked the interior designer which Real Housewife’s home he would refuse to design.

Lewis singled out Kirschenheiter, 42, claiming that her budget would be insufficient for his design services. He immediately escalated the slight by mocking her upcoming wedding to fiancé Travis Mullen.

“Broke people shouldn’t have big weddings,” Lewis declared on air.

Kirschenheiter did not let the remarks slide. During an onstage panel at Bravo Fan Fest in Charleston, South Carolina, she fired back directly at the designer.

“I think it’s interesting that Jeff Lewis thinks I would want him to design for me,” Kirschenheiter told the crowd. “I’m pretty sure Jeff Lewis was in charge of the most recent redesign of his face and look at how that turned out.”

She then stood up, raised both middle fingers, and mouthed, “F–k you, Jeff Lewis!”

Escalation on SiriusXM: Lewis Doubles Down

Rather than dropping the issue, Lewis used his platform on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live to escalate the dispute even further. He launched into an on-air tirade questioning Kirschenheiter’s legitimacy on reality television.

“For me, I have no respect for her. She’s never been ‘Real Housewives’ material from day one. She’s a Make-a-Wish Foundation,” Lewis stated.

He proceeded to label her a “white-trash grifter,” while alleging that the licensed real estate agent manufactured her storylines and staged her engagement specifically for television cameras.

Can the Bravo Personalities Reconcile?

Despite being caught directly in the crossfire of two colleagues, Minkoff remains optimistic that the feud will eventually blow over. Minkoff frequently collaborates with Lewis, appearing on both his radio show and his television series Still Flipping Out, which airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo with next-day streaming on Peacock.

“Maybe fast forward a year and she’ll be really close friends with him,” Minkoff said. “That would make me really happy because I really respect them both. I really like them both.”

Whether Kirschenheiter and Lewis can ever bury the hatchet remains uncertain given how deeply personal the insults have become.
